Today, Jan came to discuss what it means to be a road user. She told us about speed and how to be safe on the road. We did a science experiment testing how long it took to stop travelling at different speeds. We work in teams of 3. I worked with Ashleigh and Mia
I believe that speed limits around schools are good for students because kids do stupid things and could get hit by a car or a bike.
I believe that setting speed limits around a school are good because it will reduce crashes and it will be wild and chaotic.

What is Holi
Holi is an ancient festival in India and Nepal. In the arrival of spring and coming to an end of winter. Some call it the festival of colour.
Traditions
Powder and water is one of the main things of the Holi festival because they get thrown at family and friends to express joy and love.
Food
Some of the foods that people eat at the Holi festival is gujiya it is fried dumpling,sweet,sugar syrup I have never tried it but its sounds amazing!! Another food is dahivada its fried lentil dumplings, yum. And the last food is papori its crispy dough wafers.
How is Holi relevant today?
Holi is relevant today because its how we forgive and show love.It also brings so many diffrent cultures in to one big group of people to forgive. And anyone can join and play around and do all the cultures activitys.

This spring festival is important because it brings people together and celebrate the blessing of good over evil.
